Spurs head up north to face newly promoted Huddersfield for the early kick off for this weeks round of EPL fixtures. Poch is undefeated against newly promoted sides with 18 wins and only one drawn so this is a game we should win and the type we must win to compensate on the hindrance of Wembley or until that form improves.

    TOUGH NUT

The yorkshire men have proved a tough nut to crack thus far with only West Ham taking maximum points off the aptly named Terriers who defensively dogged and organised with four clean sheets to boot. Up top they offer little and will look to pinch this by a single goal. On the opening day they looked impressive netting three times but given how Palace have gone since tarnishes that scoreline somewhat and scorer of two goals that day Steve Mounie set to be sidelined today.

    KEY BATTLE

Huddersfields key player is Aaron Mooy who pulls the strings in midfield and the maestro that makes them tick over. With injuries to Dembele and Wanyama I would expect Sissoko to start in there alongside Dier today. Although the frenchman has looked improved of late he is somewhere way off the level expected of a Spurs player especially playing in a key position in central midfield.
If we nulify Mooy and keep our concentration in defence we know we have a match winner bang in form in HK.

    Predicted line up and score

Lloris Trippier Davies Toby JV Sanchez. Dier Sissoko. Alli Eriksen and Kane.
Two nil Spurs and a brace from Harry.
    Coys!!!

It's certainly a game we should be winning, especially if we want to be in the mix.
With a chance to gain points on either or both of City and Chelsea, plus Utd, Scum and Pool all with winnable games no room for error.

I agree with your prediction Big Fran.

Interestingly Winks starts for Spurs instead of Sissoko. Big test for the lad and probably his biggest in the shirt to date. Usually comes on to late in games to keep posession and slow tempo. Otherwise starts as rotation policy in games picked by the gaffer. Today however starts due to necessity with wanyama and dembele out and will be expected to dictate and force the pace.

Good win today against team trying to win game unlike Burnley, Swansea will make other teams put 10 behind the ball. Concerns today Delli not playing well taking far too many touches and losing possession. Also yet to be convinced by Sanchez. I realise he is young and central defenders take time to mature but have feeling he will be found out by better sides. Think we will have to be patient with him as he adapts to the English game, has the potential to become top defender. Harry unbelievable different class

I'm glad Poch went for Winks instead of Sissoko. I thought Winks deserved the chance after a great performance midweek - he didn't let us down. I would even rather see Winks in there rather than Wanyama when he is fit.
All credit to Huddersfield who came out, maybe unwisely, to play football - they will get their rewards against other teams playing this way.

Good result to cap off a good week and what about the build-up to the second goal. A couple of nice goals for Harry not to mention a superbly taken late one from Sissoko to finish the game which also caps off a fine week for the much maligned Moussa. Its good to see a few fringe players getting a run and doing well, I'd actually like Son get a start in front of Delli for the next game.

    Morning All,

Three wins in 8 days, 10 For, 2 Against, makes for a great week for the Lads and the Fans.

For me the only downside remains a lack of goals and general form from Dele. Okay hitting the post was a pity after good work, but he's got to learn to stay on his feet more and do the basics right rather than doing too much showy stuff.

I thought the effort from the whole team was exceptional, lots of covering, lots of space creation, good first touch stuff and HK is/was on fire. The more he scores the more they will look to kick him up in the air, but that's the game I guess.

Let's hope that there will be a good pressing game in place for Bournemouth, an early goal, or both next week. We've got to get Dele and Harry scoring at home, then we will be very strong.

Nice to watch, and good to hear the Gary Neville Tottenham love-in on Sky.

Kane carrying England at the moment all good while he's scoring goals just hope the press don't focus on him too much when England are abysmal again at the world cup.
