Many of you will know that these numbers represent our recent home form since we last dropped a point, but it’s worth reminding ourselves of what we’ve achieved here.

Since the Leicester draw at the end of October, we’ve hosted eleven teams at The Lane. As we know many have been blown away. We started with a fairly streaky win over Wet Spam in, but since then whilst we’ve had a few of odd goal wins, we’ve been otherwise nothing short of magnificent.

Averaging three goals a game is not shabby by any measure you care to use, and we’ve had seven clean sheets. Is this Spurs we are looking at, week in week out creating shed loads of chances……and taking some. Oh and we’ve blown away Chelski along the way.

This is special form, for sure. I’ve not seen a better season at WHL, ever. Since changing to three at the back and using our full backs as wingers we seem to created ten times as many chances, and whilst our conversion rate could be better, it has still been a stellar run.

All that despite having injuries to key players and generally getting little or nothing from our Summer signings.

So ahead of us we have three more games at the home before we, possibly, say goodbye to our beloved White Hart Lane. Bournemouth could be tricky, if only because they took a point from the Scousers at Anfield, something we failed to do. The Gooners are the Gooners, that will always be difficult. Then the final game – Manure in May……let’s rub their noses in it.

For me the thing that is different this year, above recent ones, is that in the past we’ve had a good bunch of players, individually good. Now though we’ve got a team, moulded together by Poch to be winners. We’re not far off being the highest scorers, the best defence, justifiably 2nd, a challenge for ANY team in the league. Let’s no longer be Spursy, let’s finish the job off.

Hopefully the Mancs game result will be irrelevant if we've 'done the job' by then!!

"little or nothing from our summer signings": Wanyama was a summer signing. He's been excellent.

Janssen may not have scored goals but he has been involved with a number of goals for the team,it is far to early to write him off, give him time maybe sell in the jan window next season if he fails the grade,he needs game time and a good pre season plus the fans need to get off his back,we all remember a certain young player called "BALE"who started badly and ended up one of the best around,as for Sissoko he should never pull the shirt on again..COYS.

I disagree. Jaansen was bought in to score goals alongside Harry or as is replace when H is out !! Had his chances and wasted them imo. Son comes on and does the business. Other players are carrying Jaansen. We need a proven scorer from PL now to strengthen the side next season. Jaansen another Soldado/Adebayor. Sorry.

Point taken. I did mean Sissoko and Janssen. Wanyama has been such an integral part of our season, that he seems to have been here longer.
Sissoko has not shown a single positive contribution. I feel for Janssen. We all do. We want him to succeed, but you watch him closely and you keep coming to the same conclusion....he's probably not good enough. I sense he might move on and I for one wish him well.

Hard to know regarding Janssen , he's a warrior for sure and some of the things he does are deff encouraging .. If you go back and watch some of his finishing in Holland , well it was clinical to be fair , so I'm with Nomadico on this one for another while anyway , let's give him a bit more time and see what happens ... There's definitely a player in there , only time will tell weather he's got what it takes at this level , I'm still hopeful ... I certainly don't like writing off players after only one season , especially in a new league ... Id start him again tomm and see how it goes , and this time if things are going well like last week , give him the 90 mins ... I wouldn't have taken him off last week , there's no reason himself and Harry can't play together , especially in them kind of circumstances ... If we could just get his confidence rocketting , then we will see what he's really worth , good or bad .....

Hopefully 3 more points tomm , no injuries and a goal or two for Janssen would be the icing on the cake .... C.O.Y.S ....

We are "on the verge" Bazza and we need to make it count in the next transfer window too - as well as tomorrow. I'm looking forward to the game and in the shelf, bring it on!

Now, Wanyama has been different class, improved us and was a complete steal. As for Janssen, he divides opinion and yes, he is employed to score goals but I would persevere with him until the end of the calendar year. Many forget that he arrived relatively late and didn't face a gruelling MoPo pre-season to whip him into shape! Personally, I like his attitude and hold-up play etc. let's hope he comes good.

Agree with Sissoko and would suggest we move Lamela on in the summer for the right money too.

COYS do us proud and blow the cherries away, then kick back and hope Jose can do us a favour!

That is a bit harsh Deggsy,if we followed your doctrine of shape up or your out after just one season then we would lose a lot more players. Son is great but he blows hot and cold,as for Janssen being carried that is what a team is about, it helps each other,we should stay with him at least until Jan window..COYS
